Tuberculosis testing for Morocco and Zambia

With effect from the end of June 2013 residents of Morocco and Zambia will need to be tested for tuberculosis (TB) as part of an application for a long stay in the UK.

If you are applying from Morocco or Zambia the TB test is compulsory for all applications for permission to come to the UK for more than 6 months, or to settle permanently. The results of your test must be provided when you submit your application at the local visa application centre:

  • Morocco: For all long-stay applications at the application centre in Rabat with effect from 30 June 2013. For further details see the Morocco page of the UKBA website
  • Zambia: For all long-stay applications at the application centre in Lusaka with effect from 25 June 2013. For further details see the Zambia page of the UKBA website
