Tier 1 (Exceptional talent) route opens

The new category has been created to allow people who are ‘world-leaders’ in their chosen field of the sciences or arts come to the UK. It has been opened following the details of its operation being confirmed by the UKBA at the end of July.

Applications for the new Tier 1 (Exceptional talent) visas can only be made from abroad. More details about the visas and eligibility criteria can be found on the Tier 1 (Exceptional talent) page of the UKBA website.
