The Guardian asks, Do You Feel British?
With the prospect of a Scottish referendum on independence on the horizon The Guardian newspaper is asking people what they think of being British and part of the UK.The Guardian are looking for videos a minute in length answering the question, ‘What sort of terms would you use to describe your nationality and how you fit into the UK as a whole?’ The question comes as part of a new series of articles focusing on national identity and the future of the United Kingdom.
As well as posting selected videos of people talking about their nationality on their website they are also asking what nationality you consider yourself to be and where you live in the UK.
This could turn out to be a fascinating project, so if you have something you want to say about this then send your thoughts in.
You can see the videos already submitted, and a map of people’s nationalities on the Do You Feel British? page of The Guardian’s website. If you want to submit an answer to this question then you can find details of where to send your video there as well.
