The number of readers of Red Squirrel books who pass the Life in the UK test on their first attempt far exceeds the national average.
Readers of publications from Red Squirrel Publishing (Life in the UK Test: Study Guide and Life in the UK Test: Practice Questions) have a pass rate well above the national average. A survey conducted by Red Squirrel of our readers shows that over 88% passed the test on their first attempt. This compares very favourably to the overall national average of 69% announced by the Home Office in July 2006. At Red Squirrel we think this shows that our readers are getting the right information about the test and that they are working hard to be ready for the test. The results show that all that hard work is paying off! Readers of Red Squirrel publications have plenty of choice in how they approach their studies. They can use the two books above to learn the required information and check their knowledge. They can also use the online testing resources on this website to test what they have learned, familiarise themselves with the test format and gain confidence before their official test.
Note: The Red Squirrel survey was conducted between May and June 2007. 1,114 responses were received.
